The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM ®) Certification Exam is an entry-level certification for project management practitioners and students. The CAPM® Exam syllabus is largely based on the project management publication by PMI® – A Guide of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), currently in the 6th edition.By studying the PMBOK® only, you can pass the exam as it is really much easier than the PMP® exam. The CAPM® certification is for people who are interested in or are just starting a career in project management. Minimum requirements you need to meet to be eligible for CAPM® exam include:A secondary diploma (high school diploma/global equivalent), and 23 contact hours ( training) of formal education
You can fill the application online and you don't have to finish it in one shot, you can save it and come back later as it the application will remain open for 90 days.Before you submit the application, you will be required to read and agree to the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and the Certification Application/Renewal Agreement, which can be found in PMI.org.
After submitting your application, PMI® may request additional audit materials. If your application is selected for audit, you will have 90 days to send the requested audit materials or your application will be declined.
In order to keep your certification valid re-exam is required every 5 years.
